Marc,

First: I appreciate your postings. I think a lot of people here do, and you
don't always notice it. From the reactions I get (private email and here on the
board) from people saying 'thank you' for my contributions - and comparing their
content with the content of other posters here with real value :))) I think your
conclusion is wrong. Here we have got a bunch of nice and interested people
around.

But maybe you won't believe it (again?): I have had some troubles reading your
postings in the past.
This message of yours I understood at once, because it has clear interpunction
and short, comprehendable lines. And no matter what people will say, that IS
important.

Marc, we have had a short private email discussion -in Dutch- over one of your
former posts I reacted to, where I, instead of asking you to take more care of
your postings - because they are sometimes so hard to follow - just made fun out
of it, which was very rude. From your answer I got the impression you didn't get
my point, which is a failure on my side.

In general, not only to Marc: it is my friendly question to all other posters
here, who are posting long messages, to please take time for your postings.
It has already been stated over and over again that "bad" English is no problem
at all. Just all try to make your post readable, because their content is worth
the extra time.

Remember it's not only the content, it's also the way in how you tell us.
And it is such a waste people posting here such interesting topics without
having them read because of missing interpunction and simple wrapping of lines
at times.
Maybe if you have some longer posts it's even advisable to use small headers.

Caressing your messages, understanding they're your valuable thoughts shared
here, will help you to take the time to compose a well written and
understandable post.

As a professional PR consultant I know how important the way you tell it really
is. Look at some reactions at my "supposed humorous" postings sometimes and you
know - it's not only content, it's also the way you tell it.

If you're going for a long message, write it offline, read it again, correct and
read it again until you are satisfied. Then post it. It's worth the effort.

This message is way too long :)
IQ.

Jeroen ;-}
