I live in NY, and when I go down to the Washington Square Park the rules to Blitz chess is you don't call check and if you opponent doesn't move the King you can take it to end the game, and I've also read this in another chess book which I don't recall the name. I've never checked it in the USCF rule book though. My question is if the rule is true how come the ICC doesn't use this rule and chess programs don't follow it either? -Dave
