So I think it's OK.

I think the defaut setting is to allocate EMS if the program requires it, so it
might be OK too.

I had another program that required EMS: Kasparov Gambit (it could not run
without).

Oh... And also Chess Tiger 10.0 could use both extended and expanded memory.
