For 8/8/8/8/2R1k3/2K5/1P6/3r4 b - - neither black will mate the white in 14 moves, nor will black move and be mated by white in 14 moves, except when moving Rd4, in which case white mates in 10, starting with Rxd4+. All this according to CHEST. Can you give more details why you think it is a mate in 14? How about a PV? Heiner
