And Crafty definitely is not playing particularly well for the past month or two, and I haven't had much time to track it down. Probably it is too interested in pawn majorities in the middlegame or some such nonsense... Hopefully December will give me time to find out what the thing is doing wrong. BTW your book looks very good to me... although I personally detest the idea of hand-tuning after about 20 years of doing that with Cray Blitz. :) Bob
