icc is a true chess war zone ,there are some really good anti-computer players on there .i have been running several chess engines on there .i was running lg2000a when it beat fritz 6 at speed chess . only to turn around and lose to a player rated only around 1700+ .he would beat the program by blocking up the position even at the expense of going down -3.5 or so .but the computer would run out of time not being able to bust the position open . it did not work every time , when it did not he got crushed .the better players human 2350 + are much too strong for the programs i've been running at 15 min a game or more .i think anything less than 500 mhz on there and you better have a real good program to compete with the top players .
