Hi Jouni,

Display of number of moves until mate in Nimzo 7.32:

1) normal (without Nalimov)
discrepancy between Nimzo-Engine and Fritz-GUI because Fritz-GUI expects number
of PLIES until mate and divides the number, which was sent from the engine, to
get the number of moves until mate. As Nimzo sends the mates in number of moves
(not plies), they get divided and therefore lead to a wrong number (factor 2,
integer rounded).

2) special (Nalimov)
should work correct, as Fritz-GUI expects number of MOVES, without doing any
division by 2 and Nimzo sends the number of moves.

Because of the different behaviour between Nalimov (moves expected) and normal
mate moves (plies expected) in the Fritz-GUI there is this mistake in displaying
the correct number of moves until mate.
This is a mistake of the Nimzo engine and will hopefully be corrected in the
next release.

Hope i got the facts correct ;-)

Greetings
Alex
