IN THE BEGINING.....

All computers were designed to ADD! only, and this conviction has been carried
down from the 4004, 8008, 8080...... to the current computers.
Addition was simple and fast.
Subtraction was accomplished by negating the second number and adding it to the
first.
Multiplication was accomplished by succesive adding.... and division was
accomplished by successive subtractions, however that does not mean that
software engineers have not overcome this function or limitation in their
algoritms to make things simpler and faster.

The only problem that I am now having is... where can I find a good 'C'
compiler, hopefully one that is interacting? All that I can find now are the
'C++' versions. No one seems to sell the original 'C' versions anymore.
Any ideas??
Thanks
Bill
