Mine understands the case where the black king gets to g8, and will try very
hard to defend this case or attain it, as appropriate.  It doesn't explicitly
understand the case where the white king is stuck in front of the h-pawn.

I don't know what I added this rather arcane case, but it was probably based
upon practical experience.
