How do you know that you have no chance against humans? I think the problem is that you can play computers more than you can play humans. I do not know about cases when 1400 player won a master but I know about 2 cases when 2000 player won grandmasters (I asked one of them after the game how did he do it and he replied to me that the game was home preparation and the grandmaster falled in a prepared trap and I know that in the second game the grandmaster did not play well).
