Not at all...my 1200 blitz rating is probably fairly accurate. But I am a chess programmer and have some knowlegde of typical computer weaknesses. It may not help my chess a lot, but it does help when playing vs computers. Most top programs are more or less resistant to those techniques nowadays, but ChessTiger wasn't.
