Here are some possibilities what could be the reason why "weak" players can draw/win against progs. on occasion. Maybe you didn't realize those: - they play at longer time controls than you probably do. Progs are much better at shorter time control. Did you ever play a prog. 2x40/2 ? I didn't. - they look at the main variation. That helps a _lot_. - they play anti-computer style, avoid tactics and aim for long time king attack. By the way: I would appreciate it if you could _not_ start a 4th threat with exactly the same subject, thanks. --Tec
