software pairing is fine.. but we need a TD to handle the questions / problems
that will pop up.  I would suggest Mike Valvo, since he was the TD of most of
the ACM events starting about 1980 or so...  he is active on ICC under the
handle "beetle" so he also understands "ICC chess"...

He would probably volunteer, but it would be nice if ICC could pay him some
nominal amount as his services would be very valuable...
