I have received a few e-mails carrying worms that propagate themselves exactly the way you describe (fortunately they are harmless in my machine), but none of them seems as dangerous as this one. I hope it did not major damages to you or the fifty-so persons it infected from your machine. The new wave of social-engineered worms (like this one which is "sent" from somebody you know) is really worrying. At least, I am worried. The next step will be to have viruses which use chess GUI's (like Millenium, Chessbase, Chesspartner, Winboard or CSTal) to propagate themselves. A scary world is before us (and yes, I think Bill will find a way to profit from it). José.
