I agree so much with you that I would declare instant brotherhood if it were a
bit less embarrassing. :)

But I also imagine that after one step too many into adulthood it is not always
easy to keep smiling, and then childhood may be seen as the timeless, safe, lost
paradise it never was. People in the age of perplexity can be admirably brave
and foolish, don't you think?
