Maybe some mistake from my side. I only remember very well that around 5 years
ago I was in writing my logic for solving the mate positions. At that time I had
Mchess that was useless in this aspect. I bought one "professional game" which
name was for sure "Wchess" (world chess). In description to this game I found
that author of the game worked before for NASA (satelite business). Beside his
occupation in programming for NASA, he was able to write in its spare time his
first chess game. And because "recent" cuts in NASA budget he almost switched to
the chess programming and was able to produce very strong game.

Program was for DOS and done in Assembler. Graphics simple but game was good, at
least on the level of mate solving. Only after buying the Genius 4 that I found
even more impecable mate solver to use. But Wchess was very speedy. Do we speak
about the same game?

Leonid.
