I think that the engine, either in comp-comp or human-comp, is no improvement
over F532. F6 is a bit slower and I don't really see the compensation in a
better understanding of the game. Today I started following the Rebel-Baburin
game with F6 and its evaluations were foolishly optimistic, without a clue about
the threats that white had against Rebel's king. I ended up switching to more
accurate programs.

Instead, I like the interface very much. At first I had as default the F4 board,
the old book-like one I have been using for years. Only yesterday I finally
managed to put as default the maple board with F6 pieces (great job, Monika
Berger), that in full screen, without icons and menus, is quite gorgeous and the
closest thing I have seen to the real boards. I also like the different layouts
I can call with CTRL-1 to 6, that in F5 only resize the board. I used it for the
Rebel game today because it is such a pleasure to look at and to work with. For
the rest, it has all the features I care for. The engine is disappointing and
there are quite a few bugs left, but I find the GUI great. F5 was until now my
favorite interface, but I would not like at all to go back to it.

Enrique
