I think that it depends on expire date for the batteries. All batteries leaks when they get too old. Also I myself have destroyed things with leaking batteries that got too old. But if they were relatively new and leaked I think that you can hold Duracell responsible for it. Georg On December 05, 1999 at 02:47:57, John R.
