I've often wondered if it's strictly NT or possibly something else, perhaps some obscure dll, that causes the problem. I won't be able comment furthur until I apply SP5. If the problem still persists after that then I probably can rule out NT per se as the problem and look at other software that is installed. Keep you informed. Steve <snip>
