That's why it comes with source. You're supposed to play around with it and learn from it. At least that is my impression of its purpose. It already interfaces with winboard, although it does not implement all of Winboard's command set. The make file for MS VC++ is trivial. Anyway, I think its a jim-dandy toy for tinkering around with.
