Again: there is no hype, but games and results. But you are right about some
degree of recurrent overenthusiasm. As you say, we will all start seing the
shortcomings, sure, and it is as it should be. No one said that program X solved
chess, but some new programs, like Tiger and Shredder, are doing very well, have
enough merits to praise them and then it is easy to get enthusiastic. My only
point in all this is that it doesn't make much sense to shoot at people that
post about new programs. That simple.

Well... Fritz 6 is much better than Fritz 1, Shredder 4 than Shredder 1, etc.
Not everything is hype and silly consumerism in CC. And anyway I prefer the Fiat
500, my favorite car. :)
