Imagine you build a bike and give it to me as a present. I look at the bike and say, "Well, I guess my new bike is okay, but I really think it should fly." Of course it shouldn't fly! It's a bike! I think you would be a little annoyed in that situation, too. Take hash tables, for example. I think it is 100% obvious that hash tables should not be in a SIMPLE chess program because they would make it more COMPLICATED.
