I read CCC off and on, but I never see requests for this stuff to be in a simple
program. Most people just ask e.g. how hash tables work, etc.

Most people who send me feedback about TSCP also mention that they tried to
understand Crafty but it's way too complicated and poorly documented. Perhaps
you should rethink your opinion of "beginner material," because nobody seems to
agree with you about Crafty.
