I was once actually humiliated by CM5500. I can only say that it didn't just beat me, it really embarrassed me. I have never had such a feeling of being dominated and outwitted in all my life. There was a time when computer chess games were beatable and the hardware was simply not all that great. Now days, the programs are too good and the hardware is too strong. It is no shame to be beaten by a commercial program, or even by a decidedly non-pansy freeware one. ;-)
