You can't throw away that directory and the contents, I've tried it indeed, moving the whole directory to someplace else on my HD, and Fritz6 didn't start after that, with the message : couldn't find Fritz 5.32. After all it is an update... However, after installing Fritz6 update I removed Fritz 5.32 with the windows standard software uninstall option. It seems that some things then are deleted, but a portion of the old Fritz5 install remains, no matter if you uninstalled it. Maybe Fritz 6 takes care of that, don't know. You could try it and save some space with it, but don't do it with Fritz 5.32 near you and nno guarantee from me. If you're afraid to run into problems you also could copy the Fritz5.32 CD and keep it for emergency. Strickly speaking it's prohibited, but in this case you won't use the old interface and program anymore, so it seems okay to me. Jeroen ;-}
