Rebel is the only commercial program that has been discussed here. Ed uses a 32 bit hash signature, + he stores the move that led to this position. I would guess that is equivalent to (maybe) a 48 bit hash signature. But remember, just because there is one error per billion nodes (or even 100X that number) doesn't mean the search will screw up. It takes a _lot_ of errors, or else an error in _exactly_ the right place... to make the program play badly.
