Fritz6's best new feature to me is the Kibitzer feature! On the whole, it is worth the money. Below is a list which I would not call bugs, but simply some observations: 1) The installation doesn't put the engine folder and the other folders under the Fritz6 folder, but at the same level to the Fritz6 folder. This can be confusing first time round. 2) When loading the accompanying Crafty engine (16.18), the dialogue box which says "initializing tablebases" shows the blue header as Crafty 16.15 although the engine is in fact 16.18. 3) Save layout doesn't really save the layout you want. The presence of the Kibitzer panel is not saved. 4) The help file option is inappropriately located at the "Design" tab (Tools --> options --> Design). Also, The "win95" help format is missing (only the "html" help format is present). 5) If you only load the Crafty engine, and go to "help" --> "about Fritz6" , it shows "Engine:Robert Hyatt". Although we know it is referring to Crafty, the headings in blue reads "About Frtiz6" and lower down it lists the de facto Fritz programmers after Hyatt's name. (The same observation for the other accompanying engines). 6) Took me quite awhile to find out that to get the "Display Arrows Below Board", I must do a right mouse click below the board and then that the option is availabe. Prior to that, I tried searching for "arrows" in the html help index but can't find that in the index search. 7) The use of small icons is not consistent for items in the dropdown lists, i.e. some selections have accompanying icons, some don't. 8) The back CD cover gives a non existent url (www.fritz6.com).
