I know that chess rule, I was asking about if it does make any important
difference if inside a chess program itself dont promote never to rooks or
bishops during his thinking.

Sometimes I promote to a rook or a bishop but just for enjoy more the game or
make my oponnent , who has no resigned yet, suffer more.
