Subject: Database of freak games could be a book...

Yesterday, in my friday meeting with my pals, something happened that made my
original idea of creating a database with "best freak games against computers"
take another further step. One of my friends, an electrical engineur so mad
about chess computers like us, told me that his friend, GM Ivan Morovic, had
engaged him to colaborate updating a book that, at his turn, was delivered by
Karpov to Morovic to do so. Gonzalo, my friend, will take care of computerish
part of he book. Then I thought: with enough games of "best freaks games against
computers" I can write something like the complement of the book written by
Robert Pawlawk; in fact, something like the human side of this, the history of
how we became engaged with this passion, which the phases were, what we felt
each time a new generation of programs arouse, etc, etc. It is a lively history
a in it then the gamesw could be like ilustrations of that history as much
surely I can collect games from every kind of programs and dates and
circunstances. And then I thought that I can get the colaboration of GM Morovic
-it is also a friend of mine, although somewhat hurt because the episode with
ferret- and of IM Rodrigo Vásquez, a very strong player, probable the second
best in Chile and one of the 5 top in America Latina. They could comment what
they deem the very best games.
It is an exciting task I would love to perform but that requires your colab. Not
only the games anotated, but your own feelings about how this passion took a
part of your lives, how you engaged into it and so on. And of course I will need
sooner or later the colab. of somebody as editor cause my english is not the
very best as you know very well.
Can you tell me who of you are prepared to send me all that stuff?
Fernando
