I have a feeling that computer results are less erratic than human results. We assign 16 points for a win in human tournaments. It may be that such a figure is to much when applied to computer-computer play. If this is true the higher rated programs would be inflated and the lower rated programs would be deflated. The correction would then have to be just the reverse at the bottom of the list from what it would be at the top.
