For example, I don't have any very recent Chessbase programs, but what I have is Extreme which is close to Fitz4 in many ways. Now I _could_ bring that to a friend's house and install it on his machine, but he'd only get a few days use out of it before he'd have to put the seedy-rom in his computer and "refuel" it, if he didn't he'd very soon have a program that doesn't work. And I ain't leaving my program at someone else's house so that's not going to happen. I think there is a way around that by using a virtual drive and a disk image, but to be quite honest, I think that most of the people who are the market's target will be going out and buying the program.
