Just a detail, but a Celeron is not a Pentium II.

You can try to change some jumpers on your motherboard, but if I'm guessing
right, you'll probably need a 100MHz motherboard to overclock it effectively.

It will run hotter and break sooner. You'll probably want to get a nice
aftermarket fan/heatsink for it so it doesn't overheat.

If you switch to a 100MHz FSB, it will run at 504 MHz.

Pricewatch has 533MHz Alphas for $1300. NT for Alpha is being discontinued so
you'd probably want to use Linux. There's more software for Linux anyway.

Yes, but getting drivers for it will probably be a bummer.

Your L1 cache is 3 clocks. L2 cache is 8. SDRAM is maybe 15, but I think I might
have done that calculation wrong because it sounds low.

Unless you're using the Mac OS, you should be able to use all your memory for
one program. It might take a while to get it all swapped in though.
