What computer are you using? It might not be a problem with Windows 2000. I
stupidly bought Hiarcs 7.32, Fritz 5.32, Junior 5, Nimzo 98 and tried to use
it with my AMD K6 475 with Windows 98 and have yet been able to run with any
consistency. After giving IBM a hard time about their hardware I now believe
that the Chessbase software is the culprit. I think chessbase has optimized
their programs to Intel processors. Until I can buy an Intel I will never by
a Chessbase product again. This is nothing against Chessbase but there obviously
is a incompatability between AMD processors, ATI graphics cards and Chessbase
software.
