I haven't played a lot of games against Fritz6 yet, but in the few I've played I've noticed very un-Fritzlike play. It plays a more human-type game than previous Fritz programs (I haven't noticed a difference this marked since the difference between Fritz2 and Fritz3). I'm not a strong enough chessplayer to be able to determine whether or not Fritz6 is stronger than Fritz5.32. But it's a strong program regardless and the new GUI alone is worth the price of admission, IMHO. I use the Green Marble board with the Ornate pieces and I think the damn thing is *gorgeous*. -- Steve Lopez The Chess Kamikaze Home Page: http://www.geocities.com/ludekdudek/ The Chess Kamikaze Club: http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/chesskamikazes
