I have a IBM Aptiva Model e540- AMD K6 475- 192 RAM 13Gig drive- ATI Rage Pro
8meg AGP graphics adapter. The fan for the processor works but the monitor puts
out alot of heat.

There is no specific time before it crashes. Sometimes its 5min other times its
an hour or more. I know Fritz is a cpu hog. I have Winboard run for days without
crashing. Then I get confident and start Fritz and it crashes and then suddenly
Winboard will blow too. If I wait a day or two Winboard will start working
again.
I have a Compaq pentium 60 also and Fritz worked fine until I changed the
resolution and number of colors. Now Fritz wont work there either.
