I have read the HIARCS and TSCP benchmarks with interest. Thanks to both gentlemen. It seems that HIARCS is the only program that doesn't seem to benefit from the use of a K6 processor instead of a Pentium. In fact, its performance (per MHz) has deteriorated on the K6, as the latest SSDF list shows. I haven't yet figured out why.
