In Germany the common accepted theory is:
- He sent the move of the other player by a four number code.
* He played games via mail before (I dont remember the english word for this).
Mail player exchange via codes like 5254 mentioned above.
* He bought a device for sending such codes some days before (there is some
case of radio communication using four number codes).
- He got the answer from another person via earphones.
The tournament was in hot summer time. Allwermann newer took off his jacket all
the time. He has long hears, his ears could not be seen. There is a photo from
the tournament, showing him playing. In former times he was employed in an
eletronic store.
In interviews in german publications Anand was very amused, Kasparov was very
disquieted by the story.
