What confuses me about your reply to Dr. Hyatt is that idea you seem have
latched on to that Crafty can not do well on a single processor machine.
Counterplay on the ICC, which is my bot had the following score running Crafty
version 12 up to 16.19:

12220 wins 1024 losses and 883 draws for an avg rating best rating of 2864.
Counterplay maintained a 2900+ rating for quite awhile, DESPITE being handicaped
by a mere K6-2 300 SINGLE processor.  And to clairify this, I had no qualms
about playing various commercial programs that lurked around the ICC.

On a differnt note, Crafty also does quite well against Fritz, even handicapped
by Fritz's expensive system overhead and lack of pondering etc.
