I don't pay any attention to Fide, but the USCF roll up tournament boards have 2
1/4" squares, my set has a 3 1/2" King approx., it's USCF's fake wood, plastic
set.

I don't touch the wood stuff, it's meant for your dining room, not for
tournaments.
