The main limits in the Demo GUI are: - most functions are missing or limited. - no game longer than 30 moves. - database limited to 8000 games like in CBLight. There will be an English version of the Demo in a couple of days on the ChessBase web site (including the popular 'Light' engine). The engine: the engine in Fritz6 Light has no hidden time-bomb and it is strong. There is only a slight difference: hash is limited to 32MB. This is irrelevant for Blitz faster than G/10 on, say, PII/450 and hobby users can ignore it. For experts and those who wish to test the engine thoroughly this is a big disadvantage since Fritz6 hates small hash tables in long games and analysis even more than Fritz5.
