I added some special knowledge to my modified Crafties a while back that deals
with exactly this type of position.  It was a very simple change (1 easy 'if'
statement), and does a good job of 'solving' these positions.  It doesn't break
easily, either.  (I've not found any instances when it evaluates this wrongly
because of this code.)  If you change, for example, the color of black's bishop
in this position, I will not get a drawish score here, because it will see black
'sacrificing' its bishop for one of white's pawns so that it is no longer locked
up.
