I think that your program play a little stronger. But I see not all games from
the WT-6 tournament of Kai, Christian and me.
But AnMon is a monster. He play fantastic games (lose fantastic or win
fantastic). It is my favorite program from all chess programs which I have. The
ELO is ~ 2450 !
The problem is, that when I play with AnMon under Chess-Base GUIs that AnMon
think in moves 40 or 50, 6-7 Plys. When I edit the position (move 40 or 50) than
I see that AnMon come in Ply 9 (under the GUI Fritz) !!! But I look not what the
versions 5-01 - 5.03 made under the GUI Fritz !
AnMon play under Chess-Base GUIs not with the full power but under WinBoard. And
here are the results fantastic. Look in the game against Little Goliath 2000
Version 2.0. AnMon won in 15 moves with a good combination. Look in the
evaluation from AnMon and in the evaluation from TOP Programs in this game :-))

And I am happy that other people play with AnMon and see that. Thorsten Czub
play for months games AnMon - CSTal. Here AnMon play better and won the match.
It is intersting to see Amateur programs and commercial programs in the same
tournament. But the user like it to play with commercial programs and so a lot
of this user can not see that the strong amateur programs play a fanstastic
chess. An other reason is the press. More than 80% can you read about comercial
engines in newspager A, newspager B 80% and newspager C 90% (in germany). So I
can see that where are the interest (not computerchess, money money money). A
big attack from my person against the bad reporting about computerchess and all
other programs. In newspager B or C I can not read information about my webpage,
why ? Not money money money ?
Many people have the dollars in the eyes, OK this people live from chess but a
little more about amateurchess please !
Example: Hiarcs Table-Bases (Nalimov Table Bases)
Many amateur programs use the Table Bases and in the last year profis.
This is not new for the ameteurs, this is new for the profis. In the
press stands ... THE NEW TABLE BASES ... :-)))
Fritz/WinBoard Engine (it is a WinBoard Engine)
no reporting over Nalimov, Tim Mann, Hyatt, Morland, Stanback and other
important (for computer chess) person !
I think the first programs which use the Table-Bases are Check-Check (Wolfgang
Delmare, Germany), SOS (Rudolf Huber, Germany) !
Please look in my News Ticker. Hyatt give a source code free (good or not good,
at the moment I think good) and other people see that and look and wrote a
program (Programmer of Sjeng or other). A fantastic work from Robert and where
can I read this in the german press.
Or your program !
1 1/2 years old and over 2450 ELO. Where can I read that. Which people wrote you
and ask you (people from the newspager). No, the people wrote the next ten pages
about TOP Programm X or Y.

I will see a big article about AnMon (a eMail to the programmer is not a
problem) or Crafty or Phalanx or the other ! I will see a big article about Tim
Mann, Robert Hyatt, John Stanback and other ...
And I will not see an Interview with a men whith buy programs.
