I don't really care _what_ you believe. Because what you "believe" and what I "know from personal experience" are two different things entirely. I have played a couple of commercial programs quite a few times (not real recently) and I lose most games as expected. But I can draw a few here and there, and I can definitely win one now and then. Because I can figure out what they can't do very well and exploit that while they have no idea what I can and can't do and often play somewhat aimlessly. I personally know several "less-than-IM" players that can beat commercial programs... some pretty regularly. You only have to look around on ICC. Not everyone cheats.
