Interesting. I hadn't thought of it like that. The thing is, I like my "semantic" argument because it avoids defining intelligence. From my experience, as soon as you try to pin down intelligence, there are a dozen people just waiting to disagree with you. I figure, if you have a bench, for all practical purposes, it's made out of wood. =) -Tom
