i think AI should be anything that can defeat more than 75% of the time a random action .in other words humans could be put to the test as well as computers .if a computer program can score at least 75% out of a 100 games vs totaly random moves then you must say that it has demonstrated AI .now the degree of AI or how good something is i guess you could take the average rating for the average person and compare vs the program and there you are .
