At least the price seems reasonable. (check out their website). I remember when databases (like chess base) used to cost an arm and a leg... it was something like $500 for the regular package and $750 for the mega package or something like that. But chess base also lowered their prices, although not as low as chess assistant. Another thing that I noticed about websites that offer databases is that the games offered are normally in PGN, and a few others in CB format. Considering that CA can also read the CB format, then CA doesn't sound like such a bad deal. However, I have to ask myself the same question as before: Do I really need a database? Does the class player really need it? Baldo.
