I have tried installing another copy my friend has, which he got from some store, and still nothing changed. I used this on my second cmputer, not my main one. My main problem is that nothing has been done to correct what could be compatability problems, and I will not risk installing it again and using the patch just in case I get the same thing happens again. CM6K runs like a dream on my main computer, but CM7K, I can only see it being a compatibility problem, so it is something they have done in the latest which is very different from CM6K.
