Please reinstall chessmaster 7000 before you apply this patch. I have given Mindscape a blasting for things they have done regarding CM7K, well this time I will let this error message for the patch say it all. This is a store bought CM7K, installed on a computer where it runs well with a few known bugs, and I get this in the patch. I did reinstall and got the same message. I will say that this is the straw that broke the camels back. Others have had pleasent experiences with CM7K, I and a few others have had shockers. My final opinion for this program is complete I do not advise someone to buy this program, I think the installation is rubbish, and when it works on a computer, I cannot even get a damn patch to work. This program I rate 1/10. I have never had any trouble with CM5K or CM6K, but CM7K is a total peice of rubbish, and if it works for other people all good for them. This will be my final trashing of CM7K, I do not care, they blew their last chance with me regarding this program. I will give them one more chance with CM8K, and that will be it.
