My corporation buys Gateway or Toshiba laptops and has no problems with them. I would advise against buying consumer-oriented laptops, since those are sometimes built to much less exacting standards and getting service can be more difficult. Whatever brand you get, however, there is always the possibility you can get an exceptionally good or bad example, so there are no guarantees. Electronic equipment does sometimes break, so part of the deal is to ensure you can get service quickly and cheaply on the machine. Paul On December 22, 1999 at 03:18:27, Lawrence S.
