It seems like it is not only a matter of RAM but also depends on the OS. With
Nalimov's program, I have not been able to use more than 255 MB of virtual
memory under Windows 95/98. Not even when I borrowed extra modules to get 384 MB
of physical memory.

I'm sure Nalimov used Windows NT on his big machines.
